Green Terrazzo Kitchen – Melbourne Collaboration Project
This bespoke green terrazzo kitchen project was delivered through a collaboration between Gosford Terrazzo and DM Terrazzo / Diagrind NSW.

Gosford Terrazzo manufactured the large-format epoxy terrazzo slabs using a custom green resin matrix blended with a carefully selected mix of black, white and natural stone aggregates. Once cured, the slabs were transported to the DM Terrazzo workshop where our team completed the grinding, honing and polishing process to reveal the aggregate and achieve a refined, consistent finish. The project featured oversized benchtop sections requiring meticulous grinding and polishing to ensure uniform aggregate exposure and colour consistency across every surface. Custom detailing included a matching integrated splashback, rounded edge profiles and precision-machined drainboard grooves, creating a seamless transition between functionality and design.
Unlike traditional cement-based terrazzo, epoxy terrazzo allows for vibrant colours and exceptional clarity, giving the green matrix a depth and richness that becomes more apparent as the surface is polished. The result is a striking statement piece that balances contemporary aesthetics with the durability and longevity terrazzo is renowned for. Following completion in our workshop, the finished pieces were transported to Melbourne for installation. The final kitchen showcases the versatility of epoxy terrazzo and demonstrates how collaboration between specialist manufacturers and finishers can deliver a truly bespoke architectural outcome.
Manufacturing & Finishing
Large-format slabs were manufactured by Gosford Terrazzo and then precision ground, honed and polished by DM Terrazzo / Diagrind NSW to achieve a consistent, high-quality finish.
Custom Detailing
The kitchen incorporates a matching integrated splashback, a rounded edge profile and custom drainboard grooves for a seamless, functional result.
Design Outcome
The soft green terrazzo adds a distinctive contemporary character while retaining the durability and practicality expected from a terrazzo kitchen installation.
After polishing, the completed slabs were sent to Melbourne for installation. The final installed kitchen showcases the material’s depth, colour consistency and reflective finish, demonstrating how collaborative craftsmanship can deliver a unique architectural outcome.
