The cost of polished concrete can start from $60 per square metre, however for a high-quality, durable finish, pricing typically sits between $100–$200 per square metre depending on the system used, size of the area and quality of the concrete surface.

As a general guide, grind and seal polished concrete usually costs $70–$120 per square metre, honed concrete ranges from $80–$100 per square metre, and mechanically (diamond) polished concrete typically ranges from $100–$180+ per square metre.

Pricing also varies based on project size. Smaller areas generally attract a higher rate per square metre due to setup, detailing and minimum charges, while larger areas benefit from reduced rates:

• Under 50m²: Higher rate per m² (small project loading)
• 50–100m²: Standard pricing range
• 100–200m²: Reduced rate per m²
• 200m²+: Lower rate per m² due to efficiencies

Diamond polished concrete not recommendend in many applications. But please conctact us if your space is commercial as this is different. Nil exposure can only occur on clean concrete, any staining, paint of surface contaminates will not be removed. Pricing is based on mid-large areas, there may be additional charges for areas with lots of small rooms due to handwork required. Simalarly large open spaces may get a discount. Pricing is always subject to a site visit If your floor is below our minimum job size of 50m2 and is an existing, internal area, the cost calculator estimate may not apply to your project and a minimum charge of $1800-$2500 plus GST for day may apply.
